(One of the worlds largest tyre distributors) in Singapore, leverages Sumitomo’s Proprietary tyre technologies and Stamford’s distribution capability with a commitment to enhance customer satisfaction FTI aims to expand sales of replacement tyres by supplying one of the broadest and deepest product range in the tyre market, keeping in mind Indian roads, driving and vehicles. Addressing the growing needs of the Indian replacement tyre market, FTI has a Pan India presence.
Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI)
Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) is one of the leading Japan-based tyre manufacturers and a core company of the Sumitomo Rubber Group, which offers a range of innovative and unique products in the fields of sports and industrial products as well as tyres.
SRI manufactures and sells around 10 crores tyres (for passenger cars, construction vehicles, agricultural vehicles, race and rally cars, motorcycles, and new transportation system) with various major brand names all over the world.
The Sports Segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of Golf goods (clubs, balls, bags, gloves and shoes) and Tennis goods (rackets, balls, bags and shoes).
The Industrial Products Segment offers various products, such as artificai turf, offset printing blanket, precision rubber parts for IT equipment, dock fenders, high damping rubber, rubber hoses, rubber gloves, medical rubber stoppers, etc. The Sumitomo Rubber Group currently has more than 15 manufacturing plants in Japan and overseas.
Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited (STC)
Stamford Tyres is one of the largest independent tyre and wheel distributors in Southeast Asia distribution centers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Australia and South Africa. It provides many value added services such as regional retail operations, on-site management services to fleet owners and mining operators. The Group has also set up a state-of-the-art plant in Thailand to manufacture alloy wheels.
Stamford Tyres was established in the 1930s and today has a sales and operations network in more than 90 countries around the world. While the Group continues to focus on its core business of tyre distribution of its major brands Falken, Dunlop, Continental and Toyo Tyre's, it has also strengthened its development capabilities and introduces innovative products to grow its proprietary brands in international markets-Sumo Firenza, Sumo Tyre and SSW Wheels.
